ESIP workshop on the future of social protection - 28 June in Brussels

Is there a risk of erosion of social protection systems due to the ageing of the population in Europe? How can we find new resources to ensure the sustainability of our systems? What new risks should be covered by social protection?

To answer those questions and more, the European Social Insurance Platform (ESIP) representing the national statutory social security organisations in Europe is organising in Brussels on Tuesday 28 June a workshop gathering ESIP members and EU stakeholders to exchange on new risks, new resources and future prospects for social protection.

The workshop is inspired by the activities of the High-Level Expert Group on the future of social protection and the welfare state in the EU chaired by Ms. Anna Diamantopoulou who will attend the event.

National experts from our Members, social security institutions across Europe will share their practical experience and views on the way forward for social protection in the EU.

Yannis Natsis, director of ESIP, will moderate this very timely discussion. The programme of the workshop is now available

Please note that only in person participation is available for this event.

You can already register for the event and see you in Brussels on 28 June!
