ESIP's anniversary was celebrated with ESIP members, in the presence of ESIP's founder and first President Franz Terwey, as well as ESIP's first Vice-President Martine Gouëllo, who both stressed the importance for social security institutions to join forces within ESIP and defend their views on the latest EU initiatives impacting on social protection, as well as to learn from each others' best practices.

To mark the occasion, and look back on the achievements made, a 25th anniversary booklet was prepared. It includes testimonies from Commissioners, members of the European Parliament and ESIP members themselves on what ESIP has brought them. The booklet is available in digital format here.
