The European Social Insurance Platform (ESIP) has signed a joint-letter, alongside 19 Social and Health organisations, calling for "Integrating Social and Health ambitions into the next EU Strategic Agenda 2024-2029".

These shall enable the European institutions to build an environment that set a Social and Health components high in the EU priorities for the five years to come. The ambitious Spanish and Belgian presidency of the European Council gave the Member States a momentum to move towards this dynamic. Therefore, 20 Social and Health stakeholders came together to call in a joint-letter the EU leaders and EU Member States to keep these topics high in the EU agenda as we, the 20 co-signatories think that it should be "a prerequisite to achieving a “strong, dynamic, competitive and cohesive Europe".
